Michael Gordin Shore has been dubbed by numerous press outlets “One of Canada’s Top Audition Coaches” and “One of Canada’s Most Appreciated Acting Teachers”. With over 50 years of training and real world experience on stage and on camera, he is an award winning short film director, co-producer of a triple award winning independent feature, and holds numerous ACTRA, CAEA, IATSE, DGC, Casting, Directing, and Producing Credits. He holds degrees in Theatre from both John Abbott College and Simon Fraser University.

As a Film and Television actor he has booked over 60 major on camera roles. Recent projects include The Apprentice, Adults, Neagley, and 56 Days. His body of work also includes supporting leads in Record Breaking Christmas, Maps and Mistletoe, Mistletoe and Menorahs, and Midnight at the Magnolia. Along with this, he has booked recurring roles in Five Days at Memorial and Eaux Turbulentes, and principal roles in Man from Toronto, A Candlelit Christmas, A Restless House, A Snowy Christmas,Left for Dead, Christmas on Fifth Avenue, Grand Army, Suits, Designated Survivor, The Strain, Taken, Zombie at 17, Mayday, Reign, Paper Year, Alias Grace, Lethal Soccer Mom, The Sweetheart, and many others.

You can watch Michael’s coaching clients in countless projects, including Simu Liu as the lead and namesake of Marvel’s Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. Simu went on to win a People’s Choice Award. Michael has helped actors book leads in Kim’s Convenience, From, Children Ruin Everything, People of Earth, Blood and Water,The Magic School Bus Rides Again, and many others.

Through his decades long coaching career he has helped thousands of actors young and old take their careers to the next level on shows like Law and Order SVU, Law and Order Toronto, Chicago Fire, Shazam, Sneakerella, Hudson and Rex, Titans, American Gods, Polar, Salvation, Anne with an E, Handmaid’s Tale, Workin’ Moms, Odd Squad, Degrassi: Next Class and countless others, and has coached dancers and teams of dancers onto America’s Best Dance Crew and Canada’s Got Talent. Michael recently taught a Master’s Class in Audition Technique at the Toronto ACTRA Conference and has been a judge for the Canadian Screen Awards. He is also a proud member of the Association of Acting Coaches and Educators, or AACE.
